Heritage Quilt Trail Grows in Downtown Elkins

Instillation is complete on the third Heritage Quilt Trail block. Elkins Main Street with the help of community volunteers have created and installed three 8×8 foot panels with historic quilt images from the Appalachian region in downtown Elkins. The first two have been installed at the Elkins Randolph County YMCA on Davis Ave. and the third is now installed along Railroad Ave. on the back of the Davis Trust  Company building near the ATM. The hope is to continue painting the panels in the spring and continue to grow the art into at least 8 panels with a tour/ informational brochure.
