Here are a few festivals located in the downtown area of Elkins.

Augusta Heritage Festival

The Augusta Festival is an annual celebration of traditional music, dance and craft. Festivities are held in the local Elkins City Park.

Christmas Parade

This annual parade is becoming one of the largest “small town” parades in Randolph County and surrounding counties.


Downtown Elkins Car Show

This summer car show takes place at the Delmonte Market in downtown Elkins. Cruise-in for antique/classic/rods/tuner/unique cards and trucks.


Mountain State Forest Festival

The Mountain State Forest Festival (MSFF) is one of the largest and oldest festivals in West Virginia. It promotes the beauty and splendor of our mountains and valley in their autumn glory. At the end of the week of festivities there is a Children’s Parade, Fireman’s Parade, and Grand Feature parade.

Food vendors concoct some delicious ramp-themed foods, like ramp burgers, ramperoni rolls, ramp chili and ramp risotto with shrimp, at this downtown festival. There will be about fifty different food and craft booths.


Scarecrow Festival

Scarecrows and cornstalks decorate the streets of downtown Elkins during the months of September and October.
