Elkins Main Street is accepting applications for the position of downtown program manager.  The downtown program manager will be responsible for coordinating revitalization activities through the Main Street program.  Applicants should have education and/or professional experience in one or more of the following areas; historic preservation, planning, economic development, marketing, design, volunteer management, nonprofit management and small business development.  The downtown program manager must be entrepreneurial, energetic, imaginative, well organized and capable of functioning effectively in an independent environment.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.  The salary range is in the mid-$30,000s (annually), depending on experience.  Interested candidates are encouraged to submit materials to the Elkins Main Street Board of Directors for consideration.
